Families should not have to spend years assembling the picture.
ADHD assessment and care can be delayed, fragmented and difficult to navigate. Families may wait months or years, pay significant private costs, repeat the same story across disconnected services and struggle to understand what information is needed or what should happen next.
Clinicians may receive incomplete information and spend scarce time gathering and coordinating evidence rather than focusing on clinical judgement. These barriers can be even greater for families facing financial, geographic or service-access constraints.
